Salam brothers & sisters ,,

Time has come to reach a solution for whats going on in our college & I hope not all medical colleges are so.

The only year that we use English the whole day was the 1st year , after that we either have to listen to a broken English by some of our doctors or we have to take an Arabic lecture explaining English knowledge.

We could pass these years easliy without any problems , but could one of you tell me what are we gone do when we want to discuss any point with a foreign doctor either here in one of our advanced hospitals or abroad when you want to complete studying , I think nobody of you at that time want to be laughed on , being a full grown adult doctor Speaking a broken English.

The one of us enter this college willing that he will improve what he already has of English , but it seems that the only favour our college did for us concerning English language is confusing us by hearing the Arabic way of pronouncation of English words that we have learnt before.

Yaah I believe that our college is responsible of us uptill a certain limit , then the remaining is our duty & whatever English we are learning at college is mosltly scientific one , not the daily spoken english.

We must have the courage to speak English now & not later & simply your mistakes now will be forgiven due to your young age & being in an Arabic community will help us pass these mistakes .

I wish that you , my collegeus , cooperate with me in finding a solution for this problem , together only us could do this change, for me I have decided inshaa allah to use my English & only English , not a single arabic word , from the 1st day I enter our university hospital, I don’t want to loose whatever experience that I might learn from the remaiming three & a half years .

That’s what I had in my mind
Please for those who have a different point of view , there will be most welcome to discuss it even if they want in Arabic.

Best wishes
Dr.LoLo

Infact, I'm not from ur college, but I feel that its a problem in the most college and work side.

This is a good point Doc. and I want to say I was Non in English before 4 years, but now I thanks God. He gaives me what I wished.

I studied English in a privet company for 2 years in the biggest Company in the Kingdome of Saudi Arabia maybe in the World.

However, I passed level after level and I finished most of them, but I still I need to study and practice more because I think I didn't get enough and due to the requirement of my job.

Now I'm studing hard and practicing more and more with foreign people and native speaker to get finish all the levels and to satisfy my self.

Really Doc. u mentioned a good topic.

and I hope that problem solve in ur college and our community.

and I sorry for my spilling & grammatical mistakes if there any.

Regards....
