Salam 3alaikum

as u all Know we just started our internship few months back, it is really aquit different experience,

and u may be run into some proffessional Doctors...they r could be so good in their job ...or they can be totally the opposite...any way not this waht i want to bring the discussion about .......

what I want to say is that thing that u may find that those Doctor possess & make u afraid that u may became one of them one day even without u relize.......to be just a DOCTOR......to make being a DOCTOR is a priority.....to the extent that being a doctor is all what u do because it is what u believe is....not knowing that he is in his way to be a emotionless working robot
A person who is just a protector for his title...it is very scary just to think that they r really exist..........
how could they forget that r basically human doing a job that deals with people soles.......and yet remeber all the privelege that their tilte giving them Dr.Big Shot.......

those u can find them any where ...legally in paper they are errorless
on land of the reality what u find is suffering pt not fromhis illness but from his Doctor that doesn't have enough time to see him or to treat him as human not as a bed or room number.........dont u hate when ur doctor call u pt in room 0000....

also u may find this type of doctor in that intern that tries to get a gr8 evaluations or recomendation fron his supervisors......and this is not bad thing unless it started to become all what matters .......so he may lie to hide his mistakes ...

Actually they should be called actors not doctors

last but not least let take care of that little thing inside us that called CONSCIENCE ...keep it a life... to watch God in our work , if we did any similer kind of behaiviors never let go or under estimating it, and remeber mistake is to learn from not to hide or to deny...neverbe ashame of whatu did even if it is a mistake...

the interest of our pt should the first proirity....keep them safe...they r what u r working with and for............

Dr.Perfecta , you opened a discussion on a big topic in the medical ethics issues and in the DOCTOR-PATIENT relationship how would it be ?? and as u`ve been said , most of them , on real reality it is not done .

Some of the doctors became dealing with their patients as a DISEASE intity only not as both human and a disease itself ,i.e. there is no respect to the patient`s emotions , fears or expectation …. WHAT WILL DO THE GREATEST CERTIFICATIONS WHO GOT THEM FROM THE GREATEST HOSPITALS OR UNIVERSITIES IF HE CAN NOT DEAL WITH HIS PATIENT AS A HUMAN BEING NOT ONLY AS A DISEASE , actually , this is not our job only , and The Prophet Mohammad told us that
من عمل منكم عملا فليتقنه
So , in order, if we put this in front of our eyes , will be no mistakes in our job as much as we can .

What I understood from your talk is that you mean that , the house officer doctor is trying to be active and doing his job very well in front of his supervisor only to get a good evaluation , otherwise , he is not like that !!!!!! If it is so ????? So Who will make a point of change in the future ? I hope to be few .


Finally , I know , these characters of doctors are found in every place in the world , and what we have to do is to correct the situation as much as we can for being a good doctor , and ourselves who should be started with, because we are the new generation in the medical field who yet still not accepting a lot of mistakes happens in front of him , and to keep this for our rest of the life , as u said we have to be CONCISE .

And what about if we start and begin to write in our diaries , how we want to be from our personalities and our characters in the future as a doctor , in order to be an efficient one wants to learn from the mistakes of the surrounding and trying to avoid them in his future`s job .

back to our discussion u really said it all...thanx a lot
but one thing.. that intern I talked about, I did'nt mean exactly those who work at the branches they do'nt like and yet want high evaluation..

I ment those who work and not caring about the pt..not feeling they r a human not some diffecult case in their oral exam they had to manage it properly..because those type of doctors at gr8 risk to getcarried a way with their actions to become conciousless robot doctors.........

any way I think they r rare ..but i wanted to say that serving and safing the pt should 1st and nothing shoud become before it except doing thing well WITH good INTENTIONS,and detecations to Allah....
