Sarcoidosis

Hey brothers & sisters..
here is my seminar project which I performed about Sarcoidosis in Clinical Pathology, and I presented it before a couple of days..
actually i was surprised how often these PwoerPoint projects are used in fourth year, almost every week we have at least one seminar, either in medicine or pathology or pharmacology..
unfortunately we did not perform any such preojects in our previous years, that's why i was not familiar in dealing with PowerPoint, and i spent a lot of time on that work..
i advise my colleagues in academic years to practice on doing such things on PowerPoint, actually it is very interesting
i think these seminars are a good way of teaching and it enhances self-confidence of the student once it is presented..
i hope that each one who has done a seminar to put it here in our forum so that others can profit from it, and i seize the opportunity here to thank Dr.Waseem about his very nice project about OsteoArthritis, good job brother!

hi Dr.Worood,
first of all thanx for ur participation

about use of PowerPoint, u can read a book as Dr.Meso said but for the beginning I'll give u some modest information:

N.B./ these steps are related to English version of windows ME, in Arabic version or in XP, it may be different..

1- once u started PowerPoint, there is a box will appear:
create a new presentation using; and there r 3 choices, u choose (blank presentation) then OK.
2- another box will appear to choose the layout of ur slide (means the arrangement of ur slide & whether u want a picture in it or not), choose one then press OK, u almost finished now.
3- now the first slide will appear blank so u can click, and add any text in the slide, so here u input ur informations
4- if u want to insert a new slide, go to the upper toolbar in the menu (insert) there is a command (new slide), press to add a second slide, again u will be asked to choose ur layout of the second slide, which can be different or same as the first slide, by this way u can have as many slides as u want
5- u can choose a background for ur slide, any colour or effect, go to the upper toolbar in the menu (format) there is a command called (background..), u can choose any colour and press (apply to all) if u want this to applied in all slides of ur presentation, or press (apply) so only the current slide background is changed, the rest will not, and u can chosse different background to each slide individually

this a very brief informations about how to start, i hope it is not so detailed and is helpful, of course it is incomplete otherwise it may take many pages, but at least inshallah u've got something, if u have any inquiry u r most welcome, thanx..
