Assalam 3alikom wa ra7matullah wa barakato

For me it is a huge moseeba when I think about this problem

When you set in a hospital in its ER and a turkey person come to bring with her a drug and C/O edema in the hand, face, Also redness
And she complain about something looks like sore throat???!!!!

She doesn't know any arabic or English word & you don't know any turkish word

The Doctor diagnose the case based on what she understand that the Pt have 2 symptoms for 2 separate diseases and told the Pt take your medicine & we'll give antihistamine + hydrocortisone
Then go home

The relative surprised that the medicine will be continued

This make me ask what if it is drug Allergy???!!!
Oh, it is a good point
But we don't know what she said & even her medicine's name in turky

Next Pt!!!

So whos responsibilty this will be
Is it our? (menistry of health)
The Hajj/ mo'tamir?
People who are responsible about al Hajj & al Omra?

Should we (dr.) learn every language? (What about people in the beginning of their career)
Should we have a translator in each hospital for every language?
Should the Hajj bring their own translator (for each 7amla)
Should the Hajj learn Arabic or English language to make communication understandable?

OR should this Pt take her medicine which might cause her Allergy and she have to take the risk to die from anaphylactic shock?!

mm my opinion ,,
about the dr.
they shouldn't give a pt any prescribe drug
if they're not sure about reason that bring him to that hospital !

they have to be sure,,
we are here talking about a human life & souls !

and for that pt who's not speakin' arabic
it seems weird that she didn't bring anyone who can speak arabic
or her guide , I think he could help in this problem ..

donnow ,, but really ,, as u said it could be a huge problem

thnx for ur topic prof.

Hi Maia Toxy

thanks for replay

mmmm what about the Pt
it is the easiest way not to diagnose or give medication

it could be safe

but why not to try something to improve Pt's health & help the with their symptoms (& take al ajr because they are hajeej)

Hi again = )

it's a good thing to help ppl
well it's not just good
I think it's the best thing to do
saving the pts lives ,, wut's best than this !?
and if they are as u said Hajij ! yeah ,, wut's better !?
otherwise
it's the hardest thing to do
between every dr.s hand a soul that every single step should be clearly confident

in ur case of this turkish pt ,, if I was in ur place
& I wasn't sure about her complain cuz I can't understand wut she is sayin' ,,
I can't take this risk
I'll own her responsibility ,, if anything gose to the wrong way

any mistake is NOT acceptable !

hi dear colleague .. how r u doin???

hope u r doin well & in a good health ..
:good:

well .. i understand how u feel about wt u wrote because we have faced alot of examples related to this issue n the ER ..
&
in my openion
i think its a huge problem too ..
&
to deal with that properly,
i think both sides should be involve in it ..

from our side ..
hiring translaters during al-hajj season would be very beneficial .. indeed, we should learn some words too ..

from hajij side ..
its a must to bring the hamla translator so it wont take long time to understand wts the problem is & treat it well..

thanx for posting such a good subject ..
GOD bless u
