It's a pleasure for the learning skills student group to invite you all to join us in this year second semister events.

The learning skills course is designed for the 1st year medicine, medical sciences, pharmacy and physiotherapy students in UQU. This course was established last year by Dr. Hani Almoallim, a staff member in internal medicine department, and was delivered by students from different levels.

The contents of the previous year lectures was as follow:
Principles of adult learning
Superficial and deep approaches to learning
How to study?
Studying skills
How to survive in the first year
Time management
Thinking skills
Problem solving skills (Application session)
Communications Skills

This year, the course is organized totally through a student committee which plans to add more creative ideas and expand the number of the presenters in order to accommodate the obvious increasing number of 1st year students plus filling the gap left after the graduation of some students.
